Reacting to vibe…
Since our very first show the group has been always doing multi-screen projections. This let us communicate and react in a more accurate and complex way with the on-going groves. In the past we used analogue film projectors accompanied by slide projectors. After some years we felt the urge not only to be able to act faster to the music but also to do it in a more specific and diverse manner too. Keeping the slide projectors – using them for creating simple panoramic still images – we replaced the 8 and 16mm movie projectors with laptops and beamers and stepped into the digital era.
We use the parties to experiment, trying new footages and expressing our visual ideas freely. By doing a kind of “on stage film editing” rather than using effects we create context and stories that relate to the music and to each other.
